Call for poster presentations for the annual conference

The Scientific and Research Committee (SRC) was delighted with the response to its call for open papers for the annual conference and this call is now closed. We are however opening a call for poster presentations for the conference in York, March 2024. Poster presentations allow attendees to discuss their research or case reports with others who are interested, in more depth than is possible in a short paper presentation. It also allow attendees to select the areas in which they are most interested and to concentrate on them.

Each poster will be allocated a poster board, which is portrait and takes size A0 paper. If you have material that you think will be suitable for a poster presentation please contact Beverly Coghlan, Research Officer.

New SRC members

We are pleased to introduce three new members of the committee:

• Emma McClane
• Mary Clare de Echevarria
• Jonathan Hutchins.

They will serve for a term of two years and we are looking forward to their specialist contribution.

Participants needed for research on attachment informed EMDR

The research team at UWE, lead by Dr Christine Ramsey Wade is recruiting adults who have experienced childhood trauma for a feasibility study. If you have any clients who might be interested in taking part, the details of the study can be found on the bulletin board.

Beverly Coghlan is the research officer for EMDR UK and Deputy Chair of the SRC.
